Join us for an autumn photo workshop in the White Carpathians, a region full of quiet magic – silent landscapes wrapped in morning mist, silhouettes of trees on pastures, grazing animals, secluded mountain cottages, and autumn foliage glowing through the haze.
This workshop will take you to lesser-known but incredibly photogenic locations near Velká Javořina, Žítková, and Mikulčin vrch, all the way to the Slovak border and the iconic Vršatec cliffs.
It's a perfect experience for landscape lovers, atmospheric shot enthusiasts, and detail seekers alike.
We’ll photograph: autumn forests, solitary trees on mountain meadows, animals in the landscape (sheep, cows, horses), morning fogs and golden sunsets, and fine details of local flora.
This workshop is also ideal for those who want to learn how to work with light, compose effectively, and photograph in the ever-changing conditions of autumn weather.

Day 1 – Friday
We’ll meet at 2:00 PM at our accommodation and go over the program for the upcoming days. After a brief introduction, we’ll focus on technical preparation—reviewing camera settings and discussing tips for composing shots in the autumn landscape.
Later, we’ll head out for our first photo session. The day will end with a sunset shoot at a scenic spot with sweeping views, featuring solitary trees and the soft, backlit light of the golden hour.

Day 2 – Saturday
Early in the morning, we’ll chase light and mist—photographing in the forest or on the pastures near Kykula, where sunbeams break through the trees and create a magical atmosphere.
In the late morning, we’ll move on to Brumov-Bylnice to capture traditional rural architecture and the surrounding landscape.
In the afternoon, we’ll hike up to the Vršatec cliffs, offering breathtaking views across both the Slovak and Moravian sides of the border.
In the evening, we’ll review your images, share editing tips, and open up space for feedback, discussion, and questions.

Day 3 – Sunday
We’ll head out early again for a sunrise session on Žítková, focusing on tree silhouettes, grazing animals, and rising morning mist over the meadows.
The rest of the morning will be spent shooting more freely around the Mikulčin vrch area.
The workshop will conclude around 11:00–12:00 noon.
