At the Pulmonary Department of the Tomas Bata Regional Hospital in Zlín, we completed one of my largest projects to date – installing a total of 52 photo prints, each sized 90 × 60 cm, throughout two floors of hallways and selected patient rooms.
The chosen theme was Moravia and the region known as Moravian Tuscany – a landscape close to the hearts of all generations. The goal was to make the environment more pleasant, encourage movement and rehabilitation, invite patients to dream, shift their mental focus, and gently motivate them toward recovery – with the hope that one day, they might visit this beautiful landscape again in person.
This project is a great example of how hospital spaces can be modern, welcoming, and visually enriching. All materials used meet hygiene standards – the prints can be cleaned with a mild disinfectant, making them perfectly suited for medical facilities.
